Market Place Greening Project

New West End Company (NWEC) presented their ideas at the last Forum meeting for a much needed green space in the neighbourhood around Market Place.

We agreed to be involved  with the consultation and planning and  welcomed this proposal.

    Hello, Well, it definitely needs greening and I do support this initiative. I’m thinking that whatever types of greenery are introduced they will have to be shade tolerant and resistant to careless drivers!

    I’m thinking about the birth trees that keep getting knocked down behind the Holiday Inn. I see they haver replaced one tree but given up on the other.
